Before Your Pool Opening
Before your scheduled pool opening appointment, please help us prepare by completing the following:
If applicable, leave your solar cover accessible.
Ensure we have clear access to the pool, equipment, and electrical power.
Secure or restrain pets during your appointment.
Leave out any baskets, return fittings, ladders, handrails, or other accessories that will be installed.
After your pool has been opened, allow the water to circulate for 24 to 48 hours before collecting a water sample for testing.
Your pool water will not be fully balanced immediately after opening. Additional shocking and water balancing may be needed during the first one to two weeks to help protect your pool surface and equipment.
Before Your Pool Closing
To help us complete your winterization efficiently, please make sure:
We have easy access to the pool, equipment, and electrical power.
Pets are safely restrained.
The pool pump timer has been turned off.
Winter plugs, covers, and any chemicals to be used are available.
Ladders and steps have been removed from vinyl liner pools before our arrival.
